My experience with the start-up COMMON Cycles gave me world-class insights into the creative process working in direct collaboration with COMMON founders, Alex Bogusky and John Bielenburg.
COMMON is an experiment in what John Bielenberg calls "Thinking Wrong." The concept is to help rapidly prototype and launch new business ventures that have a social conscious. I was selected to be part of COMMON's first Maniacal Business Attack in Greensboro, Alabama. The object being to rapidly prototype a bicycle company that uses the bamboo that grows wild in Alabama to make bike frames.
Our work generated the momentum and framework of a sustainable, socially conscious enterprise that added vital jobs and delivers an exceptional product.
